Laughter Yoga

If you tend to spend most of the time in the logical part of your brain, Laughter Yoga gives you permission to be childlike again. It helps you to release inhibitions, get imaginative, and lighten up.

Laughter yoga involves people gathering to laugh for no reason. It's non-religious, non-political, and doesn't involve actual yoga, but focuses on laughter.

The ‘Yoga’ in Laughter Yoga is a deep breath which is taken in-between each exercise. This keeps the energy and oxygen flowing which does wonders for the lymphatic system.

The exercises primarily start with ‘fake laughing’ and when done with others, it triggers natural contagious laughter, benefiting everybody.

No talking is needed, as laughter itself promotes bonding, trust, and connection.

Learning to laugh for no reason is the quickest and most effective way to relieve stress, worry, and depression. It reduces feelings of loneliness and judgement, encouraging emotional relief.

While laughter has long been considered good for body and mind, Laughter Yoga provides a reliable technique to incorporate it into daily routines for many health benefits. It allows everyone, even serious or introverted individuals, to enjoy laughter and re-connect with their creative brain.
